Earlier that day, DJ Zinhle had posted a video of her set during her friend, Moozlie’s birthday celebration with her partner and Bonang’s ex-boyfriend, AKA, dancing to the song together. It did not take long for social media users to lambast the Being Bonang reality star.
One of the first comments on the post read, “They say ‘time heals’ but that’s not working for you. Jealous! Do your own hit song.” In response to the post, another social media user said, “She must have blocked you by now,” and true to form, the social media user was blocked.
Other comments that warranted a block included a comment from a follower that wrote, “Move on,” while another social media user tweeted, “No, but I’m sure it’ll do better than your book.”
Other social media users thought Bonang was referring to a song that AKA teased on his Instagram Stories a couple of hours before Bonang tweeted. AKA shared the song, which has a working title of Golazo Leak, and some social media users that listened to that snippet agreed with Queen B*.
